Pennies for Pups - Nicholas County Elementary School

April 1, 2009:
This fun, educational program is a fundraising event to support the Nicholas County Animal
Welfare Society. Each home room class will have a donation jar where parents and children
can donate their loose change to help save the lives of Nicholas County displaced pets.
Certificates of appreciation will be given to all students of NCES for their exceptional gifts of
support and a pizza party will awarded to the top 3 classes who collect the most donations.
So dig in deep, find those pennies and help NCES students make a difference in the lives of
Animals !

400 mile yard sale - Route 68:

June 4-7, 2009 - NCAWS location will be at 3572 Maysville Road (Rt. 68), next to Mattox Auction House

Sixty communities, hundreds of yard sales, food vendors, and antique shops participate in this annual
4-day event across Kentucky on the first weekend in June. Plan on attending this 400 mile long event
that has something for everyone. Who knows what "treasures" you will find - it could be a beautiful
hand-stitched quilt or a new friend made over the kids clothing stacks! Make your plans now to visit and
shop, shop, shop! All proceeds will benefit NCAWS and its mission to help homeless animals in
Nicholas County, Kentucky.

Pet Photos with Santa

Dec. 5th from 3-5 pm at the Cole building (next to Carlisle Gifts)....photos with pets, kids or adults!
Donation to NCAWS is $7.00
Building will be open from noon to 5 pm for sale items and raffles....come in and help support NCAWS !
