About Us |
The Nicholas County Animal Welfare Society was founded in 2008, with the goal of helping homeless animals in Nicholas County, Kentucky. A small group of dedicated animal lovers has come together to improve the lives of animals in this county. Future plans include a full service shelter, spay-neuter programs, educational outreach, fundraising events, and youth programs. Currently, NCAWs and the county shelter can only accept stray dogs picked up by animal control. Owner turn-ins cannot be accommodated at this time. "NCAWS...b-caws animals matter!" |
